Fékk nýju stimplana frá Lili of the valley í dag! Alltaf gaman að fá nýja stimpla :) Gerði þetta kort handa Fjólu (kennara stelpnanna) sem er að hætta með bekkinn sinn til sjö ára. Málaði myndina með Distress bleki og notaði stickles í faldinn á pilsinu og blómin á bringunni á stelpunni.

Got my new stamps from Lili of the valley today! Always a joy to get new stamps :) Did this card for Fjóla (my girls' teacher) who is leaving their class after seven years together. Painted the image with distress ink and used stickles on the hem of the skirt and flowers on the girl's cheast.

Ég er ennþá inni í leiknum Extreme scrapbook makeover á spjallinu og þetta er verkefni nr 4.... Hafa texta yfir 100 orð á síðunni. Ég notaði magnoliu stimplana mína, tréð og froskinn en teiknaði hin dýrin og málaði svo allt með distress bleki. Mig vantaði eitthvað blátt í bakgrunninn þannig að ég málaði hann með vatnsþynntu distress bleki. Öll dýrin og hluti af trjákrónunni eru á þrívíddarpúðum.

I'm still in the game ESM at the forum and this was project no 4.... Keep a journal over 100 words on the LO. I used my magnolia stamps, the tree and the frog. The other critters I drew myself and coloured with distress ink. I needed some blue on the background so I painted it with some watermixed distress ink. All critters and a part of the treecrown is on 3 d pads.

Gerði þessa síðu fyrir ESM # 3 á skrapplistanum. Hún var smá hausverkur því ég mátti ekki nota neitt tilbúið skraut á hana... og 11 stk af blómum og 2 swirl á þrívíddarpúðum. En ég er mjög sátt við útkomuna. Ég notaði afgangspp úr Basic Grey Stella Ruby og hvítan Bazzill.

Did this one for a Extreme scrapbook makeover game, round 3 which we are playing at the icelandic forum. It was a bit of a headache 'cause it was strictly homemade stuff that was allowed... 11 pcs of flowers, 2 swirlies on 3d pads. But I am happy with my results. I used leftover pp from BG- Stella Ruby and a white Bazzill.

Gerði þessa í áskorun á spjallinu, sem gekk út á að gera síðu með titill úr sjónvarpsþætti. Ég valdi titilinn "himinblámi" því Jónsi er þarna í bláum bol, með bláu augun sín að fíflast með myndavélina. Ég er ennþá að vinna upp úr gamla pp mínum og mér finnst útkoman bara nokkuð góð!

Did this lo for a challenge at the icelandic scrap forum, it was to make a page with a title from tv-shows. I choose the title "blue as the sky" for Jónsi (my hubby) is wearing a blue t-shirt and his blue eyes goofing around with the camera. Still working with some old pp and I think I just did a pretty good job at this lo!

Extreme scrapbooking makeover...verkefni 2

Gerði þessa fyrir áskorunina hennar Beggu á spjallinu. Þar sem fyrsta síðan mín "ég man þau jólin..." komst áfram gerði ég þessa síðu fyrir verkefni nr. 2. "vaskur pjakkur" fannst mér tilvalinn titill því Litli-Karl situr þarna í eldhúsvaskinum. Og undirtitillinn er orðabókaútskýring á hvað þessi orð þýða. Vaskur= heilbrigður, hraustur, duglegur og röskur, Pjakkur=labbakútur.

Verkefnið var að hafa þrjár ljósmyndir, þrjú lög af pp, titil og stimpla mask sem næði yfir 1/4 af síðunni... held að ég hafi bara uppfyllt öll skilyrðin.

Did this Lo for Begga's challenge on our forum. My first lo "I remember sweet christmas..." got through to second round and on this second lo which I titled "You sink my heart" (loosly translated) for it's ideal 'cause the photo of Karl sitting in our kitchen sink. The subtitle is in Icelandic explaning what those words mean by an Icelandic dictionary.

The challenge was to have three photos, three layers of pp, title and to stamp a mask covering 1/4 of your lo... I think I got all items covered.

Ég loksins skrappaði!! Þessi er í leiknum hjá henni Beggu á skrappspjallinu, markmiðið var auðvelt ( hljómar alla vega einfalt ) og það var að skrappa eina síðu í manns eigin stíl. Ég held að þetta sé minn stíll... alla vega núna... annars veit ég ekki alveg hvernig minn stíll er!

I finally made a page!! This one is for Begga's challenge on the scrapbooking forum, the goal was easy ( at least in theory ) and that was to scrap one page in your own style. I think this is my style of scrapbooking.... at least for now.... I'm not really sure what my style is!

Dóttir vinafólks okkar á afmæli á morgun og verður 1o ára gömul. Í því tilefni skellti ég í þetta kort. Þarna er einn af nýju stimplunum sem ég keypti um daginn hjá Skröppu. Friend of ours are celebrating the 1oth birthday of their daughter tomorrow. Of that occasion I did this card. There is one of the new Magnoliastamps I just bought the other day at Skrappa. Still I find myself little out of practice with my copics, it took me three trials before I was happy with the results. And I need refills for few of my copics as well as some more colors ;)

Ég held ótrauð áfram með dagatalið mitt og hef nú lokið við febrúar mánuð... Áður en ég byrjaði á þessu verkefni hélt ég að ég ætti þær Tildur sem ég þurfti í þetta en það er nú aldeilis ekki sko! Mig "sárvantar" fleiri... Ég fékk þessa samt frá Drífubeib og mér finnst hún passa best við febrúar (ætlaði að hafa skautadrottningar-Tildu en fannst þessi passa betur). Skautadrottningar-Tilda verður í mars í staðinn en það er í framkvæmd.

I continue my work on the calendar and now I've finished the month of february... Before I began this project I thought I had just enough Tilda's for it but I was soooo wrong! I'm in a "desperate need" of more... Got this one from a Drífabeib and I think she's most appropriate to february (was going to use Skatequeen-Tilda but this one had what I needed). Það greip um sig skreytingaræði þegar keypt voru plein tímaritabox fyrir skólann. Um helgina skreytti ég fjögur svona box en við ákváðum að gefa kennaranum þeirra eitt. Pp er BG, Scarlett letter og stafirnir einhverjir límmiðar sem ég keypti einhverntíma einhversstaðar. Blekaðir kantar með distress bleiki frá Tim Holtz. Veit ekki alveg hvað annað er hægt að segja um þetta.

There were few plain boxex like this one decorated this weekend. It's for school and we decided to give one to the teacher. The pp is BG, Scarlett Letter and the letters are some old stickers I bought somewere sometime... The edges are inked with Distress Ink from Tim Holtz. Not sure if there is anything more to say about it.

Er það of snemmt fyrir jólakort? Ég var nefnilega að fá pöntun upp á 100 stk! Og þar sem ég reyni nú að vanda mig til að svekkja engan um jólin verð ég að byrja sem fyrst á þessu og ákvað að nota áskorun númer 13 á Fullri skeið af sykri sem orkuskot. Ég var semsagt að prufa í fyrsta skiptið að lita þessa elsku með Distress bleki en ekki vatnslitum eða copics. Mér finnst sjálfri mér hafa tekist vel upp.

Is it too early for xmascards? Because I had a request of 100 pcs! And of course so nobody'll get hurt over the holidays I try to do my very best. Used the sketch challenge nr 13 over at Spoon full of sugar as an energyboost. Now I was trying out for the first time to color this darling with Distress Ink instead of watercolors or copics. Albúm 2oo9 / Calendar 2oo9

Þegar ég sá áskorunina á Tildu&vinum í morgun fór ég að spá hvernig ég gæti tekið þátt aftur, áskorunin þessa vikuna er "Ískuldi" og fyrir mér er það janúarmánuður, frost og myrkur og öll jólaljósin farin. En fyrir langa löngu síðan sá ég hjá Jónu á "spjallinu" rosalega flottan standandi ramma sem hún var búin að skreyta/breyta í borðdagatal þannig að ég keypti svoleiðis í Ikea (það var þegar ég verslaði enn við þá sko) til að geta hermt eftir. Og hugmyndinni laust í kollinn á mér upp úr hádegi að þetta væri kjörið tækifæri til að byrja á dagatalinu langþráða. Og þetta er það sem kom út úr því... Magnólíu snjókall og BG pp auk stimpla sem ég man ekki hvaðan eru og "dagatalið" gerði ég í Publishernum í tölvunni. Svo skellti ég inn í vasann útprentuðum lista yfir afmælisbörnin í janúar.

When I saw the challenge at Tilda&Co this morning I started to think about how I could enter again, this week challenge is "Cold as Ice" and to me that means January, freezing cold and dark and all the xmas lights gone. Long time ago I saw at a friend in an Icelandic scrapbooking chatroom very beautiful standing frame that she had decorated/altered to a calendar that I bought one of those in Ikea (when I still shopped there) to copy. The idea popped to my head at brunch that this was a perfect opportunity to start that project finally. This is what came out of it... a Magnolia's snowman and some BG pp and swirl stamps I can't remember the name of, the calender it self I made from Microsoft office publisher. Into the pouch I slipped a printed list of all the Bday-babies in January.

Loksins kemur eitthvað skrapp frá mér. Ég hef aðallega einbeitt mér að kortunum undanfarið bæði til að grynnka aðeins á pp birgðunum mínum og til að geta notað allt nýja dótið mitt. Litina og stimplana. Þessi mynd hefur ásótt mig lengi. Þetta er ein af fáum myndum sem ég á af henni Dagbjörtu frá því að þær systur voru litlar og ég þurfti að photoshoppa hana mikið til að ná henni góðri úr prentun. En þetta tókst og aftur tel ég ekki upp það sem ég notaði nema bazzillinn því það er það eina sem ég er alveg pottþétt á. Allt hitt eru restar af pp sem ég á í bunkum!

Finally some scrapbooking. I've mainly been focused on cards lately because I've got a lot of scrap pp that I have to use before I buy more and to use my new stuff. The copic colors and the Sarah Key's stamps. This pic has been haunting me for a long time. It's one of few I got of Dagbjört since the two of them were toddlers and I had to do lots of Photoshop work on it to get it good through printing. But it worked and again I can't tell you what I used exept for the Bazzill for that is the only sure thing in that page, everything else on it are leftovers of mine that I've got in loads!

Mig hefur langað til að taka þátt í áskorunum á Tildu&Vinum í langan tíma en aldrei þorað, sjálfsálitið hefur mátt muna fífil sinn fegri... En ákvað að stíga einu skrefi lengra en ég þori og gerði þetta. Notaði í þetta tóma klósettrúllu, grænan pappír, Magnólíu stimpla og copic litina mína. Nenni ekki að fara nánar í útlistun á hvað ég notaði... man ekki hvaða liti ég notaði, pp er eldgamall afgangur en klósettrúllan er Lambi.

For a long time I have been longing to take part in the challenges over at Tilda&Co but never had the guts, my ego has been in better shape... But now I decided to cross the line in the sand and this is what I came up with. I used for it an empty toiletroll, green pp, Magnolia's stamps and my copics. Don't bother to get into details of what I used... can't remember what colors I used, the pp is a leftover scrap but the toiletroll is Lambi.
